My 15 year old daughter and I have been collaborating during the summers for the past three years. I look forward to this time together and her artistic style inspires me.
She describes the shape she'd like me to make. When the pot is finished and before it dries out, she paints it with underglaze. She does this without hesitation and watching her do this it is clear she gets engrossed by this process.
After is it dried and bisque fired this yunomi was dipped in a clear glaze and fired once more.

Food, microwave, and dishwasher safe. I always recommend hand washing and limited microwave use to protect the surface and longevity of handmade items.
